About the Session

This workshop will focus on pedagogical thinking in the digital classroom and explore a small selection of powerful apps that amplify and extend learning.  Tools such as iTunes U, iBooks Author and Google forms for assessment will feature prominently and there will be an iTunes U course to support participants beyond the day.  This session is designed for teachers in leadership roles and teachers with a strong interest in developing their iPad classroom.

About the Presenter


Phill Cristofaro.Phill has more than 20 years experience as a classroom teacher and more than ten as a leading teacher. He is an apple distinguished educator and member of the apple consultant’s network – trained to deliver apple professional learning (apd).In 2007, Phill was a finalist in the herald sun teacher of the year awards and in 2005 was a finalist in the outstanding primary teacher category of the education excellence awards (Victoria, Australia). Phill has worked as an e-learning consultant and Ultranet coach for the western metropolitan region (DEECD Victoria). He currently is eLearning Leader and primary consultant at Keilor Views Primary School (Swindon Crescent).
